My favorite tradition is decorating our house for Halloween. I love to carve pumpkins with my husband and watch them glow. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love handing out candy and watching all the kids trick-or-treat!

Our favorite Halloween tradition is going to one of the local farms that have a fall fest, jumping in the haystacks, walking through the corn maze, going out to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkins for carving, enjoying the crisp fall air, taking some cute pictures of our girls and ending the day with some apple cider or hot chocolate and warm apple cider doughnuts!!

Our favorite Halloween tradition is decorating the outside and inside of our house with Halloween decorations! It's great now that Meghan's old enough to start enjoying them too! :)

This is Aidan's first Halloween, so we decided to start a couple new traditions- last weekend we went to the pumpkin farm- his favorite parts were the jumping pillow, splashing in the puddles (it rained!) and the warm apple cider donuts- covered in his favorite- SUGAR! My sister and I also coordinated Aidan's and Merrick's costumes- they are going to be a whopper and a hot dog! It is fun to think of things they can be together!

Halloween is the favorite holiday in our house. We dress as a family (Goldilocks and the Three bears this year). We deck out the house, carve pumpkins, decorate cookies, and make special fall food. And my favorite tradition is to take guesses of what costumes we will see on Trick or Treators and predict what will be the most popular costume. We keep track of all the costumes that come through each year and see what creative things kids come up with! (Cheesy I know)

Our favorite tradition has become trick-or-treating around the square in Woodstock. You get to see all the great costumes in one place!

The best part is coming home after trick or treating and the kids dump out all their candy and "trade" it with each other. They are 2 and 6 yrs old, so this can be a very cute conversation to overhear.;) The best part is, it's time to break out the pumpkin seeds! We make them the weekend prior, after carving the pumpkin. This is one of the kids favorite things and they look forward to it! The saltiness from the pumpkin seeds seem to help even out all that sugar from the candy!!

My favorite Halloween tradition STILL (even w/ our wonderful daugther in our lives) is watching my husband carve those pumpkins! He gets so excited...it's like watching a BIG kid lol!

The best tradition we have is our Annual Pumpkin Carving Party... we invite family and friends from all over and carve pumpkins together... it is so cool to see how different they all turn out. We cook up all the seeds and send them home with the guests. It is a great way to spend time with friends and family!

Our favorite tradition is going to the pumpkin patch and picking out the perfect pumpkin and decorations. We then decorate the house together. Even Colin got involved this year! It was so fun to watch the excitement and joy in their eyes... it brought tears to my eyes just watching them and how happy they were... It's the simple moments that I will definately treasure. Just being able to spend time with them is such a blessing. I really enjoy those moments- they grow up way too fast!!!

My favorite tradition is the trick or treating! Seeing all the kids from the neighborhood dressed up is so much fun. Ava really enjoyed handing out the candy as much as receiving! (She's only 22 months old)
